As part of the identity program designed by Donald Meeker (*) for the U.S. Department of Transportation, we implemented an agency-wide design management program for the Federal Aviation Administration that addressed all public communications from publications and airman and aircraft communications to signage and vehicles. The designs for an aircraft corrosion control and safety-marking program was credited by Boeing as the most complete vehicle coatings manual ever developed for a diverse fleet that included 29 different types of aircraft.
